ONE APPLICATION. YOUR ENTIRE WORKFLOW.

From the first cue
to the final recorded track.

Mber also handles what happens between pressing Play and hearing sound from the speakers: where the signal goes, how it sounds, when it changes and what gets recorded.

01 / PLAYLISTS AND OUTPUTS LT + STD

Every playlist is
an independent audio path.

Background music in the hall can continue while an announcement plays in another zone. Each playlist has its own device, volume, effects and playback behaviour.

  • Unlimited playlists. Keep ceremonies, interval music, performances and working material in separate lists. Coloured tabs make navigation easier.
  • Independent routing. Choose your audio interface and output channels, using mono or stereo as needed. Playback supports WASAPI and ASIO.
  • Together or one at a time. Selected playlists can play simultaneously. For sequential playback, starting another playlist stops the previous one.
  • Templates for the next event. Save crossfade, fade and end-of-track settings. Create the next playlist from the same template.

02 / PRECISE PLAYBACK LT + STD

The right start.
An exact finish.
A smooth transition.

Prepare a passage, loop or fade-out in advance. During the performance, focus on getting the timing right.

  • A waveform you can work with. A colour-coded waveform, time grid, zoom and markers help you locate the start and end of each passage.
  • Cue and trim for each track. Set individual start and end points to a hundredth of a second, plus loops and adjustable fade-in and fade-out.
  • Crossfades to suit the moment. Choose the duration and curve. Make background music flow smoothly or stop precisely after a performance.
  • You decide what happens next. Continue, wait for the next cue, repeat or shuffle.
  • Controls for live operation. Seek lock prevents accidental jumps in the waveform. Keyboard shortcuts and five-second skips speed up operation.

At a dance competition, for example: each track has a prepared start, end and fade. When it finishes, Mber waits for your next cue.

03 / EFFECT CHAINS LT + STD / VST3 IN STD

There is more to sound
than volume.

Each playlist can use different processing. Shape the tone, balance material recorded at different levels and add your VST3 plugins in STD.

31graphic EQ bands
6parametric EQ bands
  • Graphic equaliser. Third-octave bands from 20 Hz to 20 kHz for quick tonal adjustments.
  • Parametric equaliser. Select each band's frequency, width and shape for precise corrections when broad adjustments are not enough.
  • LUFS loudness normalisation. Target loudness and presets for different uses. A true-peak limiter controls peaks, while dynamics levelling reduces variations within a recording.
  • Effect order matters. Reorder built-in effects and, in STD, place them before or after VST3 plugins. Bypass individual sections when needed.
  • VST3 hosting in STD. A plugin browser, background folder scanning and each plugin's own editor window. Use compressors, limiters or reverbs from your collection.
  • The chain is saved with the playlist. Your settings are ready when you reopen it. Fades are applied after processing so the normaliser does not counteract them.

04 / SAMPLER AND BANKS LT + STD

A fanfare, a bell,
a jingle. On cue.

The sampler runs independently of playlists. Trigger an effect over music, alternate sounds within groups and prepare complete sets for different events.

9pads per bank
8colour-coded groups
  • Banks for different shows. Switch between prepared sets for theatre, a sports ceremony or a hosted event.
  • Individual pad settings. Name, volume, start and end points, fades, gate and loops of either the whole segment or a selected region.
  • Groups with shared behaviour. One pad plays within each group; the next replaces it or crossfades with it. Ungrouped pads can be layered.
  • Choose what a second press does. Stop immediately, fade out, restart or keep playing.
  • A separate output and quick control. Mouse and numeric keypad triggering, a master sampler volume and a single-key emergency stop for all pads.

05 / MULTITRACK RECORDING LT + STD

Run the show.
Record it too.

Capture inputs from your audio interface or mixing console. Each selected channel is saved separately for further work later.

  • A separate WAV for every channel. Select and name tracks, choose a destination folder and start recording.
  • 24-bit or 32-bit float. Choose a format to suit your workflow. Available inputs and their range depend on your audio hardware.
  • Levels and elapsed time while recording. Monitor selected inputs. Long recordings are not stopped by the usual 4 GB WAV file boundary.
  • LT: up to four tracks through WASAPI. For smaller setups and everyday recording.
  • STD: no edition-imposed track limit, plus ASIO. Your connected hardware determines the channel count. Playback and recording can share one ASIO driver.

06 / LOUDNESS METERING LT + STD

See your levels.
Take out the guesswork.

Built-in LUFS and SPL metering helps you monitor playback levels. STD can also receive measurements from Smaart.

  • LUFS for perceived loudness. Loudness monitoring complements the effect chain and helps when working with recordings prepared at different levels.
  • SPL from a measurement input. Choose an audio interface input, set the calibration offset and select a weighting filter.
  • Smaart API in STD. Display readings from an external measurement application directly in Mber.

The built-in meter is a loudness monitoring aid, not a certified measurement instrument.

07 / IMAGES AND VIDEO IMAGES IN LT + STD / VIDEO IN STD

Your media can be
more than audio.

Add images, photos and, in STD, video clips to the programme. Send the picture to a projector and keep a confidence monitor beside you.

  • Image slideshows are included in LT. JPG, PNG, BMP, GIF, TIFF and WebP directly in your playlist. Adjustable display duration, transitions and random transition selection.
  • Independent slideshow music. Images run from one playlist and background music from another. The music does not need to match the duration of each slide.
  • Video in STD. A separate window, borderless fullscreen and an additional confidence monitor. Picture stays in sync with audio when pausing or seeking.
  • Subtitles and picture adjustments. Select subtitles embedded in a film or stored alongside it, with appearance and timing controls. Fit the picture to the display or crop black bars.
  • Audio tracks and network media. Choose an audio track and play media from network storage. Video codec availability also depends on your Windows installation.

08 / FILES AND NETWORK SOURCES VIDEO REQUIRES STD

From disk or network.
From your library.

Mber works with common audio files, radio streams and network media. You do not need to copy all your content to one drive first.

  • Broad audio support. WAV, FLAC, MP3, AIFF, Ogg Vorbis, Opus, CAF, AAC/M4A, WMA and AC-3. Other formats depend on the available decoder.
  • Multimedia container readers. MKV/WebM, MP4/MOV, AVI, MPEG-TS and more. Containers and codecs are different: playback also depends on how each track is compressed.
  • Internet radio. Enter an address or find a station by name, country and genre. Track titles appear when the station provides metadata.
  • Your Emby library. Browse and search films and series on your own server, and resume partially watched programmes. Video playback requires STD.
  • Video URLs and IPTV. HTTP/HTTPS sources, MPEG-TS, supported HLS streams and M3U playlist import. STD also displays live channel video.
Network playback requirements

Emby requires your own accessible server. Encrypted HLS streams, fMP4 segments and URLs requiring browser-based login are not supported. HEVC video may require a Windows extension. Mber does not include subscriptions to TV or other content services.

09 / YOUR WORKSPACE LT + STD

Your event.
Your layout.

A dark control room and a bright outdoor venue call for different setups. Adjust appearance, control sizes and window placement to suit where you work.

  • Light and dark palettes. Custom colours, an eyedropper for selecting interface elements and saved colour schemes. Adjustable text and button sizes.
  • Skins and a visual editor. Position the time display, transport, waveform and meter, with an optional custom background.
  • Multiple monitors. A detachable playlist and separate tool windows. Keep a long track list beside the main controls.
  • A display for the lighting operator. A large track title, elapsed and remaining time, waveform and next track. Follow the programme without accidentally changing playback.
  • Czech, English and custom shortcuts. Adapt the controls, use contextual help and minimise to the system tray.
